Profhilo vs Sunekos — which bio-remodeller, and where?
Both injectables sit in the same broad family as 'skin quality' regeneratives, but they work on different targets. Profhilo is hyaluronic acid that triggers a structural lift; Sunekos pairs HA with amino acids to rebuild the extracellular matrix. They are complementary far more often than they are alternatives.
The short answer
Profhilo is pure ultra-pure hyaluronic acid (32 mg HMW + 32 mg LMW) that stimulates collagen, elastin and adipocyte regeneration — best for laxity in the cheeks, jawline and neck. Sunekos is hyaluronic acid plus six amino acids that rebuilds the extracellular matrix — best for thin, crepey skin around the eyes, lips and décolletage. When we choose Profhilo
Patients noticing the first signs of laxity — softening jawline, flatter cheek, looser neck — who want a structural reset rather than volume. Excellent prejuvenation choice from age 30 and the canonical answer for 'I want better skin without looking done'.
When we choose Sunekos
Fine, crepey, papery skin where the dermis itself is thin — under-eye hollows that don't need filler, smoker's lines, neck rings, décolletage. Also our first-choice regenerative around the eye where Profhilo's bolus injection points are anatomically too coarse.

Which is better, Profhilo or Sunekos?
Neither — they treat different problems. Profhilo addresses laxity. Sunekos addresses skin quality and thin dermis. Most patients benefit from both in different zones.
Can I have Profhilo and Sunekos in the same appointment?
Generally we stagger them by 1–2 weeks so each is delivered into healthy tissue, not into a recovering injection site. We will plan this for you at consultation.
Are they alternatives to dermal filler?
No. Filler restores lost volume. Bio-remodellers improve skin and structural quality. The ideal protocol for most patients in their 40s combines both — filler in deficit zones, bio-remodelling everywhere else.
How quickly will I see results?
Sunekos: 2–3 weeks. Profhilo: 4 weeks after the second session. Neither is a same-day result — they are slow, regenerative changes, not cosmetic shortcuts.
Is there any downtime?
Small bumps at injection points settle within hours (Profhilo's BAP points may stay visible for 8–12 hours). Sunekos microinjections settle within 24 hours. Patients usually return to work the same day.
