Choosing the Right Treatment
Aesthetic medicine works in layers, and each category treats a different one. Lines that appear on movement — frowning, squinting, raising the brows — belong to the muscle, and respond to anti-wrinkle treatment. Hollows, flattening and a softening jawline belong to lost volume and support, and respond to hyaluronic acid filler placed in the right plane. Dullness, crepey texture and enlarged pores live in the skin itself, where bio-remodellers, polynucleotides and peels do their quiet work. When tissue has genuinely descended, lifting treatments — PDO threads and our XL Endolaser fibre — reposition and tighten from within rather than camouflaging from the surface.
As a rule of thumb: choose Botox when the mirror bothers you most in motion; filler when a shadow or hollow is there even at rest; skin rejuvenation when the quality of the canvas is the issue; and a lifting treatment when the whole shape has drifted downwards. Medical Botox serves a different purpose entirely — relief from migraine, sweating or teeth grinding. Most faces need a thoughtful combination, sequenced over time, and that judgement is exactly what a consultation is for. Bold, natural, always your way.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
Match the treatment to the layer: lines on movement respond to anti-wrinkle treatment, hollows and lost support to dermal filler, skin texture and dullness to skin rejuvenation, and descended tissue to PDO threads or our XL Endolaser lift. A £50 consultation maps this properly before anything is booked.
What is the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?
Anti-wrinkle treatment relaxes the muscles that crease the skin on expression, softening dynamic lines. Dermal fillers restore lost volume and support beneath the skin using hyaluronic acid. One addresses movement, the other structure — many faces benefit from both, sequenced carefully.
How much do treatments cost at Cosmedocs?
Anti-wrinkle treatment starts at £175 for one area, dermal fillers from £300, skin rejuvenation from £250, and lifting treatments such as PDO threads from £950. Our full price list is published openly, and every fee is confirmed at consultation before treatment.
Are all treatments performed by doctors?
Yes. Cosmedocs has been doctor-led since 2007. Every injectable, laser and lifting treatment is performed or directly supervised by a GMC-registered doctor, and we teach many of these techniques at the Harley Street Institute.
Do I need a consultation before booking treatment?
We recommend one. The injectable consultation is £50, redeemable against any treatment, and gives you an honest assessment of what will and will not help — including when the right answer is to do less, or nothing at all.
Will my results look natural?
That is the entire philosophy: our aesthetics is invisible art. We favour small, precise amounts in the correct planes over obvious change — transformation that speaks without saying a word. You should look rested and like yourself, never done.
